"What do you do with bananas that are on the turn? These mini doughnuts are just so good and have so few ingredients that they are a super-easy way to throw together a lovely treat. I drizzle mine with melted Biscoff spread, which works beautifully with bananas." – Dean Edwards
Ingredients
Method
- 2 over-ripe bananas, mashed
- 200 g Greek yogurt
- 280 g self-raising flour, plus more if needed
- 50 g unsalted butter, melted
- caster sugar, to dust
- melted Biscoff spread, to serve (optional)
Method
Ingredients
1. Preheat the air fryer to 190°C
2. In a bowl, mix together the banana, yogurt and flour until combined, then knead on a work surface for 3 minutes, adding a touch more flour if it’s too sticky. Shape into 12 equal-sized balls, then pop on to a sheet of baking paper in your air fryer drawer.
3. Brush the balls with some of the melted butter, then cook for 12 minutes. Once cooked, brush with a little more butter, then dust with the sugar. Drizzle with Biscoff spread, if you like, then serve.
