Serves 4

Prep Time 15 minutes, plus 30 minutes’ chilling time

Cooking Time 10 minutes

Ingredients

4 pork bangers, casings removed
100 g streaky bacon, minced
1⁄2 onion, finely chopped
a handful, coriander finely chopped
a handful rosemary, finely chopped
oil, for frying

For serving:

4 burger rolls
lettuce or rocket
sliced cheese
sliced tomato
4 free-range eggs, fried

Method

1. In a large bowl, combine the sausage meat, bacon, onion and herbs. Shape into 4–6 patties and chill for 30 minutes.

2. Heat the oil and fry the patties to your liking. Assemble the burgers and serve.
